Although highly portable, the LR6x25 does have a tripod thread when you need extra stability.

The 6x25 is a compact, easy to use rangefinder with superb magnification that produces quick readings out to 600 yards. Battery life was good. The 6x25 provided quality optics at a low price and when compared to high dollar rangefinders I could find little or no difference.
